Getting Him Back..Here's how I did it!

Most people know my current husband and I had been dating for about five years when we had our first major break up. What stuns almost everyone is that not only did we make up, but we got married later that year, and now have a 15 month old son. I ended the relationship as I usually tried to do once every few months, basically hoping for change. Well to my surprise there was a change, another girl, they had a real relationship for over six months. It looked pretty hopeless. Then I got smart and did a little research, I wanted him back..for good! That's when I discovered Al's program, what a charm! It works like clock work, and is almost scary.

It is not always necessary to say goodbye to the man or woman you love. Sometimes you have to spend a little time and money to get what you really want and keep it. If you're Ex is worth the time and effort then give this program a try. But be sure of what you want because this time you'll get it!

It's Sandal Time Ladies!

two lips zig zag wedge sandals1

The above sandals are my pic of the season for nightwear. They are from Victoria Secret, and are called the Zig-Zag wedge sandal.  LUV'EM! They are $89.00, but if you get a whole season out of them it can be well worth it.

Yes, it has started. The new shipments of summer sandals have started to arrive in your local retail stores. Have you decided what you want to flaunt this year?

Ok, this may be a little too much for you. But it also may be the year you do something daring and stylish with your footwear! Get a little crazy...go for that bold color, that jeweled strap, those oddly shaped heels. The key is to wear all of them with immense confidence. A woman wearing glamour fashion items with a good self confidence can pull off anything. Make this your season to shine!

Getting Rid of Panic Attacks

I have suffered with these attacks since puberty. My hands would shake, I would sweat, my heart would beat faster and faster. I was afraid, but of what? Nothing, yet everything. It took a long time to learn what these attacks were, and it was even harder finding anything that could help. I tried all sorts of medications, but the side effects really hurt my quality of life, some of them zapped the life right out of me. Finally I found the answer to my panic attacks. If you have the same problem click here and read this article I wrote, and find out how I got these attacks under control:

As well if you are not sure if you are having panic attacks or heart problems read the following article I wrote:

Unfortunately for me I suffered from both Panic attacks and a heart attack in 2008. Remember it is always important to get a real medical opinion on these matters. Take it from me, it's worth the visit to your doctor.

Foot Fungus for Summer???

Hey everyone, it's that time of year again...for Sweaty Feet, and foot fungus. Fungi grow very well in moist, warm areas such as between your toes and on covered feet. If your feet feel itchy, war, and have a reddened appearance then consider foot fungus. Time to invest in foot powder, they have all kinds. Some are medicated and some are not, I prefer medicated. Remember to wash your feet well with soap and water, then dry well between your toes. Then simply powder your feet before bed and when you get dressed in the morning.

If you are considering a pedicure remember to use your own file and equipment, as foot fungus can be transferred by using dirty or infected tools.

You don't want these feet:

Wouldn't you rather have these feet:

Waterproof Mascara

I have tried every brand of waterproof mascara, at every price level. It definitely does what it is supposed to, it does not come off in the water. As a matter in fact it doesn't come off at all! I have literally pulled out bunches of lashes to try and get this mascara off at night. I invested in a real quality make up remover, still no success. I want waterproof lash coverage without the permanent black globs. Awaiting a solution.

With Springtime closing in quickly, new make overs are in the works. Learn how to lengthen your appearance and increase your success:

Making All of Your Children Feel at Home with You!

As many of you know I have three sons, two of whom live with their father and step mother during the week. My third son, born through my second marriage, lives with my husband and myself. So the challenge arises, how do I make my first two sons feel as special in my home as my third son? The following link will bring you to an article I wrote on how to do just that, and come out on top of this situation.

http://www.associatedcontent.com/article/5910534/how_to_make_your_noncustodial_children.html?cat=25

It was a challenge in the beginning, and we talked many hours about all of our feelings. Today we are closer than ever, and every one of my children knows that they are equally important to us. Our family consists of all of us, and would not be the same otherwise. So if you are having issues with this circumstance try some of the advice from the above article and see how things change for the better. Good luck on your family!

Act Your Age!

Have you ever been told that your wardrobe is inappropriate for your age? Or that your hair style is too young for you? How about that your behavior is childish, and you need to grow up?
Well, these remarks are hurtful to one's self esteem, and usually are made by another who is unconsciously jealous of your lifestyle. Before you change anything about your personality and appearance do this one thing: Consider The Source. That's right, the source, who said it? Is she a beautiful woman, happy in her own life? Does she have reason to be jealous of you, remember jealousy is innate, and the person might not recognize it at all. Then there is the "Old School" source, just respect them, they really are trying to help. They just don't realize that things change as time passes, and the new fads can be offensive to them.
The best thing you can do for yourself is : BE YOURSELF! At all times. Love who you are and keep people around you that make you feel good about yourself. Looking young is a gift from the lord. If you have been given that gift then run with it! The younger you look, the younger you'll feel, and that's just not a bad thing.
So the next time someone remarks on your wardrobe simply say: "Are you jealous?".

God love you and stay young at heart!

How to Thank Your Nurse

As many people know my mother was in a very bad motor vehicle accident 5 weeks ago. She has been in two hospitals and two rehabilitation centers since this occurred. So in general, many people have had a hand in her care towards recovery, which we expect to be lengthy, but successful. So, the question has become, "How do we thank the staff who cared for our mother"? Well firstly we try to be understanding of their workload and offer any help we can while we are there. Since most of my family works in the healthcare field we try to put ourselves in their shoes, and complain only when necessary. As well, compliment them on their work when we can. But in the end most staff members really appreciate one of two things:

A jug of Dunkin' Donuts coffee and Box of donuts
                    Remember night and day staff
                                        -or-
A box of candy for each shift

Both are great ideas for a staff that barely has time to sit and eat, it is great to have something to grab on the run, or pick at all day or night.

Be sure to include a thank you note, it really is appreciated.

What is the Best Jean Style Right Now?

Well for all you hippies and deadheads out there, our time has ended. The 80's is back with a vengeance, and it's brought back the stretchy, tight ankle jean style with it. Our only saving grace is that they haven't started stacking socks in different colors over the pant legs yet. But I have started to see leg warmers again. The biggest variation from the 80's is that the tight stretch jeans of today are longer, and are worn almost completely over the back of one's sneaker. They seem to come in faded colors which does add a modern context to them. Body style seems unimportant with these jeans, but use your own judgement with your body style and taste. Think they'll bring back bubble gum jeans?

Gerber Gets It!

It's been a long time in between kids for me, eleven years actually. So here I am again trying to please a one year old, and his choosy pallet. Hoping that I get enough of each required daily nutrient in him, to meet his metabolic requirements. I used to think Gerber was capitalizing on mom's need to succeed and do the right thing, by selling over priced, healthy snacks. Well, my son has an affinity towards cheese puffs, aside from the scant amount of protein from the processed cheese, I just couldn't find any nutritional value there. Then I noticed in the baby isle one day that Gerber had a healthy snack called "lil' crunchies". They look and feel like cheese puffs, but they contain calcium, iron, vit E, and zinc. Then I checked out the price, $1.99. Let's see $1.49 for a completely useless nutrional snack, or 50 cents more for Gerber. Good news is he loves them, and I feel better about his cheese puff moments. So next time your in the baby isle, check them out.

Crack Down on Your Kid's Cell Phone Time

Kids today are so preoccupied with their cell phones, that other areas of their social lives are being ignored. Technology is always a good thing when used in moderation. Children have forgotten how to engage in real social conversation with one another. Public schools banned cell phone use in school to put a stop to in class texting, which basically has replaced the old fashioned note passing. Most kids would rather text the person next to them than speak to them in person. Psychologists believe this is promoting unhealthy social development among our kids.
So take the bull by the horns parents. If the only way to talk to your child is by texting them, it's time to take time off from their cell phone.
For some important information on text abuse in general read my current article: Text Abuse: To Text or Not to Text.
